El potlatch supremo: la vida, la poesía. (Acerca de Potlatch de Arturo Carrera)
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper analyses the way Bataille's concept of potlatch - its definition quoted in the prologue - expands by means of a particular language work throughout Arturo Carrera's book of Potlatch poems. The notion of donating some priceless thing modifies its meaning and scope until it comprises not only one specific conception of poetry and life but also the manner in which values and desire circulate within society (familiar and social), and the manner in which senses circulate within language.
