Abstract
From the beginning of the XIXth century, the printing industry in Paris shows a strong growth. Among the numerous booksellers-editors in the sector, a few of them, such as Denné, specialize in the selling and printing of books in foreign languages. The establishment founded by this family, Librería Española y Americana, soon becomes the meeting point for the Spanish-speaking community residing in the French capital, whose members want to buy or publish books or periodicals in their mother tongue. This was very probably the case for Eugenio Cambaceres
